Managing Multiple Requests & Queued Projects
Understand how our sequential workflow works, why having a dedicated editor improves consistency, and how to prioritize urgent tasks in your queue.

At IndieDoers, we want you to dump your entire content brain into our system. You can submit as many video requests as you like—there is no limit to your backlog.
However, to ensure maximum quality and consistency, we process these requests sequentially (one by one). Here is how the queue system works.
1. The "Unlimited Queue" Concept
Think of your Workspace as a project bucket.
Submit Everything: You can upload 10 podcast episodes and 5 shorts all at once.
The Queue: These requests sit in your "Pending" or "Submitted" list, waiting for their turn.
Peace of Mind: Once a request is in the system, you don't need to think about it. We will pull it automatically as soon as the previous task is finished.
2. One Dedicated Editor, One Focus
Unlike other agencies that might split your 10 videos across 10 random freelancers, we assign one Dedicated Editor to your account (especially on the Pro Plan).
Sequential Processing: Your editor works on one active request at a time.
Why do we do this?
Consistency: The same person cuts every video, so they learn your style, your music preferences, and your pacing.
Speed: By focusing on one task, the editor can finish it faster (often in 24-48 hours) without multitasking distractions.
3. Active vs. Queued Status
In your Workspace, you can easily see what is happening right now:
In Progress: This is the one video currently being edited.
Submitted / Queued: These are the videos waiting in line. They will remain "Not assigned yet" or "Submitted" until the active project is moved to "Review" or "Completed".
4. Changing Priorities (How to Skip the Line)
What if you submitted a YouTube video 3 days ago, but suddenly need a TikTok video today?
You don't need to delete anything. You can simply change the priority:
Use the "Rush" Status: If a new request is urgent, mark it as Rush (24h turnaround) when submitting. This signals the editor to pause their current work and jump on this immediately.
Chat with Us: You can also drop a message in the Chat saying, "Hey, please pause the podcast edit and do the Reel first". Our editors are flexible and manage their schedule based on your needs.
