IndieDoers is built specifically for content creators, businesses, and agencies. Our team and workflow are optimized for digital content that grows brands.

To ensure we deliver the highest quality results, we focus on specific video categories and exclude others. Here is a breakdown of our scope.

✅ What We Edit (Our Specialty)

We are experts at editing "content" — videos designed to educate, entertain, or sell on social platforms.

Long-Form Content:

  • YouTube Videos: Vlogs, talking heads, tech reviews, lifestyle content.

  • Podcasts: Video podcasts (single or multi-cam) and interviews.

  • Educational: Online courses, tutorials, and masterclasses.

  • Corporate: Webinars, Zoom recordings, and internal presentations.

Short-Form Content:

  • Social Vertical Video: TikToks, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

  • Repurposed Clips: extracting viral moments from longer videos.

❌ What We Do Not Edit

We do not support complex narrative filmmaking or personal event videography. These projects often require a subjective, artistic style that falls outside our productized workflow.

Out of Scope:

  • 🚫 Music Videos: We do not edit artistic music videos or performance montages.

  • 🚫 Wedding Movies: We do not edit wedding films, engagement videos, or personal event highlights.

  • 🚫 Full-Length Documentaries: While we edit documentary-style YouTube videos, full-length feature films are out of scope.

  • 🚫 3D Animation: We do not create 3D characters or complex CGI from scratch.

Why the distinction?

Our editors are trained on retention and engagement. They know how to cut a YouTube video to keep viewers watching or how to caption a TikTok to stop the scroll.

Genres like Music Videos and Weddings require a completely different skillset (and often different software/workflow) that doesn't fit our speed-focused system. By saying "no" to these, we can say "yes" to faster turnaround times for your business content.
